Two thousand thirteen was a good year for exploring more of my home state, Pennsylvania–mostly via miles of the Appalachian Trail. I’ve compiled a list of the section hikes we’ve completed over the past several years, here: Appalachian Trail Section Hikes.
Our 2013 summer A.T. hikes included some memorable ones: The PA Flatlands, Cove Mountain and Hawks Rocks (one of the best views I’ve seen along the Pennsylvania A.T.), Peters Mountain, Rausch Gap and Yellow Springs, Big Flat Ridge (a classic section of A.T.) and Center Point Knob.
Enjoy!
