Chimney Rocks of Buzzard Peak is a nice Sunday afternoon hiking destination along the Appalachian Trail, especially when starting from the north at South Mountain. Most of the trail is pleasant and more or less flat, except for 400 feet of uphill at the beginning. Uncle John, Dad and my dog Hunter enjoyed the surprising solitude on this 90-degree day, topped off by a great view from the rocks.
